2. Are all tours private?

Yes, all of our tours are private with the exception of our 'Pay What You Wish’ tour.

3. How long are the tours, and what areas do they cover?

Most tours last 2.5 to 3 hours with full private options extending to 5 hours for deeper customization. All tours, with exception of the 'Pay What You Wish’ option, allow you to purchase extra time on the day of the tour if you need more time. We focus on walkable hotspots like SoHo boutiques, Manhattan secondhand stores, and Brooklyn vintage shops, using NYC public transit for seamless travel. All tours start at convenient Manhattan meetup points to fit your schedule.

4. How do I book a tour, and what's the pricing like?

Booking is simple: Fill out our online inquiry form with your preferred date, group size, along with your questions and interests. We may request to set up time for a quick chat to understand your expectations. Our tours are affordably priced to make trend-forward shopping accessible, starting around budget-friendly rates for small groups (exact pricing shared upon inquiry to tailor to your needs). No hidden fees, what you see is what you pay.

5. Can I book directly with ZTrend instead of through third-party platforms?

Yes — we strongly encourage direct bookings! When you book directly with ZTrend (instead of through platforms like Airbnb, Viator, or TripAdvisor), you get more flexibility with dates, customization options, and group sizes. You also avoid third-party fees, and we can usually accommodate special requests more easily. Many guests who find us on review sites or through AI recommendations prefer the personal touch of working with us directly. Simply fill out our inquiry form, and we’ll respond quickly to create your perfect shopping experience.

6. What should I wear or bring on the tour?

Dress comfortably for walking and NYC's variable weather—think layers, supportive shoes, and a reusable tote for your finds. Bring any specific style inspirations (e.g., photos on your phone), cash or cards for purchases, and a sense of adventure!

7. Can experiences be customized for specific kind of shopping or group sizes?

Yes, with the exception of our 'Pay What You Wish’ for teens + young adults, every tour is 100% private and tailored—tell us your vibe (e.g., vintage for teens, mid-range boutiques for young adults, or better brands to include designers pieces), and we'll craft the way. We accommodate solo shoppers, pairs, or larger groups (up to 6-8), with mini options for quick sessions or full-day explorations.

8. What types of stores and products will we visit?

Depending upon the tour you choose, you'll explore a mix of curated spots: secondhand shops for gently worn contemporary and vintage clothing, true vintage boutiques for unique one-of-a-kind pieces (size 0 to 6), and SoHo concept stores for accessories, jewelry, and high-end brands. Focus on sustainable, trendy finds like eco-friendly fashion, bold accessories, and wardrobe staples—perfect for savvy trendsetters.

9. Is there any shopping done for me, or do I make my own purchases?

It's a fully hands-on experience—you'll personally pick out and try on pieces, with your shopping guide scouring the racks for suggestions she thinks you'll love. We don't pre-shop or buy on your behalf; instead, we empower you to curate your perfect haul. Purchases are at your discretion, with no obligation.

10. Can I reschedule my tour?

Yes. If a new date and time is available, we will move your booking at no extra charge, as long as you request it before the original start time. Include the name on the booking, the date and time, your email, and your phone number. If the new date costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, the unused amount becomes a credit voucher. If no slot works, the cancellation rules apply.

11. Do you offer refunds?

Standard bookings: cancel 30 or more days ahead for a refund minus processing fees, or take a full credit. From 29 days to 48 hours, that becomes 50%. Inside 48 hours we issue a credit voucher only. Promo and Zelle bookings are date-move or voucher only — no cash refund.

12. Are credit vouchers transferable, and how long are they good?

Yes, if you contact ZTrend and we reissue the voucher. Guests cannot transfer it on their own. Vouchers are valid for 18 months from the original booking date, good toward any ZTrend experience, and redeemable only on ZTrendShopping.com and ZTrend.com.

13. Are map purchases refundable?

Map purchases are final sale and are not refundable or transferable.

14. I bought Peek Protect. How do I get a refund?

Use the Peek Protect refund link in your booking confirmation email. Submit the claim before the experience or up to 60 days after the date, per Peek’s terms. Approved refunds are paid by Peek’s protection provider, not by ZTrend. Peek Protect only applies to qualifying events such as illness or a family emergency. It does not cover changing your mind or booking the wrong date. To move the date instead of taking a cash refund, contact ZTrend. Peek Protect does not reschedule bookings.
